  PEACHES N CREAM

Once upon a time, there was a princess that really looooooved peaches.   So, when it came time to choose a husband, she chose one who possessed peaches.   She made him sign a contract that when they were married that she would be fed plenty of peaches.   He promised before God and these witnesses that he would give his wife all of the peaches she could possibly want.   This was not at all unusual because there was a law on the books that commanded a husband who owned peaches to give his wife all of the peaches she could possibly want.

It just so happened that although the husband was really rich in peaches, he was able to acquire an exclusive monopoly on peaches so that he was the only source of peaches in the land.  He had fresh peaches, dried peaches, canned peaches, peach pie, peach ice cream, peach nectar, peach preserves, jams and jellies.   He had so many peaches he hardly knew what to do with them all.  But after the marriage, for some strange reason, this husband starved his wife from peaches.  He would only give them to her when he was in the mood, which was not very often.  She was really starved for peaches, really hungry.  His desire for peaches was not nearly a great as hers, and so, he would only give her peaches occasionally.  Besides, the giving of peaches to her required 10 minutes to 35 minutes, and he was very busy, with many important agendas.

She begged, and whined, cajoled and served, hoping to be given some peaches.  She threatened, and pleaded and kept a right heart attitude, but none of this was able to convince her husband to give her anything but starvation rations of peaches.  This situation continued until the princess became old, and then she died.

So is everyone who sexually defrauds his or her spouse.

1 Cor 7:2  "Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.  3  Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.  4  The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.  5  Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency."  (KJV)

1 Cor 7:2  "Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, (this is the reason, the purpose, for marriage),  let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband  (the woman's libido, or sexual appetite, can be and often is stronger than her husband).  3  Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: (Here, the husband is commanded to minister sexually to his wife), and likewise also the wife unto the husband.  4  The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: (in other words, the husband OWNS the sexual parts of the wife, and she has no right to withhold herself from him)   and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. (in other words, the wife OWNS the sexual parts of the husband, and he has no right to withhold himself from her).    5  Defraud ye not one the other, (this means that sex should happen every time either the husband wants it, and every time the wife wants it, whether or not it is convenient to the other, or whether the other is "in the mood".) except it be with (mutual) consent for a (short) time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; (and NOT for any other reason, not for birth control, not for a menstrual period, not for inconvenience, lack of time, their are children, etc.) and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency (a person, man or woman, can be strongly tempted, if there is not a regular sexual outlet within the marriage.  There is no excuse for sin, but a spouse who will not minister to his or her spouse, every time  it is requested, is subjecting the spouse to strong temptation.  To keep from falling, the spouse may have to spend a lot of time, effort and energy battling the temptation."  (KJV)

In the world of pornography, the ideal is for someone to have another to be sexually available at all times.  This is the beginning standard of any Christian marriage, that the spouse be available sexually - always.

Prov 3:27  "Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.  28  Say not unto thy neighbour, ‘Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give'; when thou hast it by thee.  29  Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.  30  Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm."  (KJV)

Remember:  You are the ONLY person in the world, or in all of history, that is allowed by God to minister to your mate, sexually.  Every other household function may be legitimately hired done by anyone else, but not the sexual function.  This means that your spouse is TOTALLY at your  mercy, that if you do not minister sexually to him/her, that your mate will suffer accordingly.  Please see our book, The Sexual Ministry, if you are sexually active, or if you are counseling those who are.
