Review - Chapter 10

 "Kingdom Initiative" or "DO IT NOW !!!"

STRATEGY:  Read this chapter out loud.  Pray prayers of repentance, thanksgiving and commitment.  Answer the Questions.  Discuss ways in which the material can be "actionized".

 ACTION: Now what?    Personal applications.  Work projects.  Where am I in light of this material?

 DISCUSSION: Discuss the balance between our initiative and God's soverign leading. For example: Those in Scripture who "got ahead of God", vs. those who had a "do nothing" mentality.

 Discuss the statement: "God helps those who help themselves."

 As an example of prayer not being "better than" action, look up and read the Scriptures where God told both Moses, "Wherefore criest thou unto Me? Speak to the people that they go forward!"

 Now do the same thing for the same reason  with the passage of Scripture of Joshua, where God says, "Get up off your face, there is sin in the camp."

 Discuss how "The King's Greatest Secret", relates to Kingdom initiative.

 Discuss the statement: "God is waiting for us to do what we have been waiting for Him to do."

 Discuss Matthew 11:12.  Examine other translations and versions of this verse, esp. the Amplified New Testament.
